Spirit of God said, “Despise not small beginnings!” 1 Peter 2:1 Lay aside and put off (1)malice: vicious mean-spirited attitudes, (2) hypocrisies : be who you are, God loves you, (3) envying and evil speaking: slander and defaming speech to each other. Church should be a safe place, be real. 1 Peter 2:4 maybe you find yourself not respected and desired by family, friends, and associates? But you are chosen of God and precious! God chose those who were unfit and calls them highly regarded and esteemed. This sermon also looked at 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 and how God’s love is extended to each of us. God’s measure of success is faithfulness not perfection. God values you!!!!
